These terms govern your use of the West Hartford Chimney Repair website and the chimney, masonry, and related services we provide. By using the site or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

Website Use

The information on this site is for general guidance about chimney sweeping, masonry repair, relining, waterproofing, inspections, and fireplace and stove installations. It is not a substitute for a professional on-site or virtual assessment. Do not rely on it to determine whether your specific chimney is safe.

Estimates and Quotes

In-person and virtual estimates are free. Estimates are based on the information available at the time (photos, video, or a site visit). If conditions found during the work materially differ from what was visible during the estimate, we’ll pause and give you an updated quote in writing before continuing.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We schedule appointments on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the slot to another homeowner. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit for future work.

Payment

We accept cash, major credit cards, and financing through Synchrony (subject to credit approval). Payment is due upon completion of the work unless we’ve agreed to a different schedule in writing. Late payments may incur interest as allowed by Connecticut law.

Financing

Financing is provided by Synchrony under their own terms. We do not underwrite or hold financing accounts. Interest rates, promotional periods, and account terms are set by Synchrony.

Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. Specific written warranties on masonry rebuilds, waterproofing treatments, and stainless steel liners are included on your final invoice. Manufacturer warranties (stoves, inserts, liners) are passed through as written by the manufacturer.

Safety and Recommendations

We follow NFPA 211 and CSIA best practices. If we identify a safety hazard, we’ll tell you honestly and won’t sweep or use a chimney we believe is unsafe until it’s repaired.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Connecticut law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
